Composition :

Each 1 g contains:

Amoxycillin trihydrate 200 mg.

(Equivalent to 175mg amoxycillin base)

Properties:

Amoxycillin trihydrate is a semi-synthetic penicillin which is a potent bactericidal agent against a wide range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive pathogens including; Actinobacillus lignersi, Actinobacillus equlli, Bordetella bronchoseptica, Escherichia coli, Haemophilus spp., Moraxella spp., Pasteurella spp., Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella spp., Streptococci Erysipelothrix, Corynebacterium spp., Clostridium spp. , Staphylococci and Bacillus anthracis. In general Amoxycillin is effective in local infections, alimentary tract infection, respiratory infection, urogenital infections and secondary bacterial infections.

Indications:

Amoxitryl is indicated for the prevention and treatment of colibacillosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, staphylococcosis, necrotic enteritis and erysipelas infections in poultry.

Amoxitryl is also indicated for the treatment of enteric and systemic infections caused by susceptible organisms in calves and lambs.

Dosage and Administration:
Poultry: (To be added via drinking water)
Prevention:

1gm Amoxitryl / 20 kg.wt. (10 mg. amoxycillin /kg.wt.) for 3 days.

Treatment:

1gm Amoxitryl / 10 kg.wt. (20 mg. amoxycillin /kg.wt.) for 3-5 days.

Non-ruminating calves and lambs:

1gm Amoxitryl / 20 kg.b.wt. (10 mg. amoxycillin /kg.wt.) for 3-5 days.

Withdrawal times:

Chicken : 1 day. Turkeys : 5 days. Ducks: 7 days.

Calves and lambs : 10 days .

Not to be used for layers.

Package: 100, 500 and 1000 g plastic jars.
