AVITRYL(antibiotic&antibacterial)

Composition

Each 1 ml contains:

Enrofloxacin 100 mg

Avitryl is an excellent antimicrobial agent for poultry and animals which belongs to the second generation of quinolone group. The mode of action of Enrofloxacin is believed to be the inhibition of DNA gyrase enzyme that maintains super helical twist in microbial DNA. Avitryl has rapid bactericidal activity against Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria including E.Coli, Salmonella, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Staphylococci and Streptococci. It is also active against Mycoplasma and Clamydia and is easily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, widely distributed to different infected tissues in a therapeutic concentration. Avitryl is considered to be very safe.

Avitryl is recommended for the prevention and treatment of C.R.D., C.C.R.D., Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, Fowl Cholera, Infectious Coryza, Necrotic Enteritis and Arthritis in poultry. Avitryl is recommended for treating Bronchitis, Pneumonia, Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, Nephritis, Cystitis, Clostridial infections and Staphylococcal infection in other animals.

Dosage and Administration:
Poultry : 1 ml / 2 liters of drinking water for 3 days. (50 ppm) up to 3 weeks of age.
1 ml / 10 kg B.wt for age more than 3 weeks.

Small Animals : 1 ml / 40 kg B.wt for 3 - 5 days.
Rabbits : 1 ml / 20 kg B.wt for 3 days.

7 days for calves, sheep, goats & 4 days for poultry.
